Why join the AGC Board?
Board Member Commitments:
- Serving is learning. Every aspect of board service teaches valuable skills.
- A network is waiting to welcome. There are remarkable people on the AGC board and playground committee. They are individuals with master's degrees in Business Administration and Social Work, we have project managers, and areas of expertise in legal, teaching, human resource, operation management, and sales.
- Join an exceptional board. Joining a board can do more than expand your network, it can create friendships. Finding new friends is to find people with similar interests and all of the AGC board have one thing in common: they want to work together to help AGC provide quality education and childcare and be a place of amazing employment.
- Scratch the altruistic itch. Non-profit board membership can provide an additional sense of fulfillment, allowing you to use your talents for something beyond corporate or personal profit.
Board Member Commitments:

- Attend monthly meetings. Typically, on the third Monday of the month.
- Be available via email and respond promptly.
- Board members must act honestly and put the best interests of the organization ahead of their own interests when giving input and voting.
